Terro Squad Female Rapper, Remy Ma Release From Prison After 6Years Delayed.

Remy Ma, 34, was sentenced to eight years in prison in May 2008 for shooting an associate, Makeda Barnes-Joseph after a fight. After serving six years, the rapper was set to get out of jail early on good behavior. However, her July 31 release date has been pushed back. Read below for all the details!

Fans have missed the beloved Terror Squad rapper, and unfortunately, it seems that they will have to wait a bit longer before Remy is officially back.
According to Revolt, an official at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility told the site that she is being held due to a “third-party call,” which occurred on July 21. The site also reported that, Hot 97 news chief, Miss Info, said that Remy spent the past week leading up to her release date in solitary confinement.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, that is the same day that the rapper made a call in to Power 105’s, Angie Martinez show, where she admitted to be excited to go back to work. Although she was supposed to be released between 8 am and 10 am, on July 31, she is still in custody and according to the site, she could remain there for a few days or even weeks depending on how long the process takes.
